Equinox Announces Arcanum Public Library Live on Evergreen

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Duluth, GA —August 22, 2013

Equinox Software is proud to announce that Arcanum Public Library has gone live on Evergreen as part of the growing Consortium of Ohio Libraries (COOL). Equinox Software oversaw data migration and will continue to provide advanced technical support for the entire COOL consortium. The COOL project received initial funding from the local libraries and an LSTA grant from the State Library of Ohio. The entire COOL catalog can be viewed online at http://www.cool-cat.org/.

The current Arcanum Public Library is located in a home that once belonged to the Ivester Family. Over the years, renovations and additions have taken place. However, the library has remained dedicated to maintaining the home and has left many areas intact for visitors to enjoy.

Shae Tetterton, Equinox Project Manager, says, “We had a wonderful collaboration of staff members from Equinox, Ohionet and Arcanum working on this project and, in my opinion, this was one of the smoothest migrations for the COOL consortium. I was also overjoyed to see a nearby COOL library, Blanchester Public, stop by on go live day to help get the library up and running. This is why I love working with the COOL libraries!”
